The Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival of Miami

July 7 – July 28, 2019

We are excited to launch a new summer intensive program for the study of solo repertoire and chamber music for strings and piano. Hosted on the beautiful Miami Shores campus of Barry University, the Josef Gingold Chamber Music Festival of Miami will celebrate the transformative power of music as we delve into rigorous study combined with imaginative performances to elevate and inspire both the participant and audiences throughout this three week journey.

It is our deep belief that master musicians sharing their insight and performing alongside young artists is a truly inspiring and life changing experience. We seek to build community steeped in musical tradition while challenging and exploring new directions for artists of the 21st century. It is of equal importance that we bring diverse elements of the festival to other parts of the Miami-Dade community so that we may develop deeper appreciation of and interest in classical music to all.

We hope that you will join us this summer as we commence building new connections, new friendships, and producing profound music-making experiences.

Watch

Watch our festival’s music director, Andrés Cárdenes, speak about this exceptional experience.

No matter what you do, always
con amore, always with love. You never play dutifully, you play beautifully.
